Saint John Lateran (San Giovanni in Laterano)
San Giovanni in Laterano is the oldest and most important cathedral in Rome, and the official seat of the Pope. Built in the 4th century, it is known for its impressive Baroque architecture, beautiful mosaics and imposing square. It is often considered the mother church of the Catholic world.
