Kaleidoscope in Clay
Kaleidoscope in Clay was a compelling ceramics exhibition held at The Gallery@L3 in Fort Canning Centre, Singapore, showcasing the artistry and history of Chinese ceramics. Presented by the Society for Chinese Ceramics Studies (SCCS), the two-part exhibition explored centuries of clay art—from ancient glazes and forms spanning over 5,000 years to distinctive wares of the Song and Yuan dynasties. The first part focused on the evolution of glazes and ceramic forms, while the second part, running through much of 2023, highlighted life and utilitarian ceramics during the Song and Yuan periods. Admission was free, and the exhibition offered visitors a rich journey through cultural histories preserved in clay.
